Labradorite – one of a kind

Labradorite is known for their beautiful flash, or “schiller effect” (German for “twinkle” or “shining”) This effect occurs when light bounces off of tiny mineral platelets found inside the stone.Labradorite is linked to the incredible, mystical natural phenomenon Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights. Labradorite stones are as mystical as its iridescent, changing colours suggest.
When wearing a piece of jewelry with Labradorite, I like to think I’m wearing a little piece of those magical Northern Lights with me.
