Dear friends from the USA

Sadly my local postal service is suspending shipping of goods to the USA until further notice.

Now it’s hoping for systems to work with the orange nutter’s new tariff rules to be in place soon, so that I can resume shipping to the US when my shop has opened again. Fingers crossed!

Important for customers outside the EU:
Please note that import duties or customs fees may apply when your order enters your country.
These costs are set by your country’s customs and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Unfortunately, I have no control over these fees, but if you’re unsure, I recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.

Shipping
All orders are shipped with tracking, in a mailbox package that fits through almost every mailbox. Upgrades are available at check-out. For orders above €100,- I do recommend using an insured and signed for option, expecially round the holidays.

Grá (“love”)
The ring pictures the Irish (Gaeilge) word for “love” written in Ogham.
Ogham is the earliest written source of the Irish language, the oldest recording of Irish personal names and the first real evidence of Irish scholarship and learning. The alphabet stems from early medieval times. According to the High Medieval “Bríatharogam”, names of various trees can be ascribed to individual letters. You can find Ogham carved on memorial or territorial standing stones found in Ireland, Wales, the west of England, the Isle of Man and Scotland.

It was originally used to record names, and u usually have to read it vertically from the bottom to the top. For my jewelry, I’ve used the Ogham script to write in modern Standard Irish: Gaeilge, and I’ve chosen not to write names, but words that can serve as a message or reminder to yourself or a loved one.

This ring is handcarved and casted, there is only one available. So it is a one of a kind item.
Note: Bronze can leave green marks on your skin, especially when the pendant is new or when you sweat a lot. But this is not harmful for your skin.
