The ring pictures the Gaelic word for “magic” written in Ogham. Ogham is an Early Medieval alphabet used primarily to write the early Irish language, and later the Old Irish language. According to the High Medieval “Bríatharogam”, names of various trees can be ascribed to individual letters.

Handmade and handforged from recycled 925 silver. Width of the ringband is +/- 5 mm.
Please note that due to its handmade nature, the ring you’ll receive might slightly differ from the one showed on the pictures in this listing. The black patina on the ringband might fade some over time, depending on how much you wear the ring (and under which circumstances). It will remain completely visible in the inscription.
