The vegvísir, meaning “wayfinder” in Icelandic, is a magical stave from Iceland designed to aid travelers in rough weather. It first appears in the Huld Manuscript from 1860, well after the Viking Age (793-1066). 19th-century European romanticism sparked renewed interest in Norse history and mythology, likely contributing to the vegvísir’s popularity.
I find the vegvísir’s beauty and meaning captivating. That’s why I’ve created a small necklace featuring its design: Magical, even if not of Viking origin.

This ring is handcasted from recycled 925 silver with the sandcasting method, so each item is unique. The silver is blackened to create contrast and to let the details pop. Please note that due to its handmade nature, the ring you’ll receive might slightly differ from the one showed on the pictures in this listing.
