Pictish – silver
Inspired by Pictish stone carvings. The Picts were an ancient people who inhabited what is now modern-day Scotland during the late Iron Age and Early Medieval Period. Known for their distinctive and enigmatic stone carvings, the Picts left behind a rich cultural legacy that has fascinated historians and archaeologists for centuries. The Picts were renowned for their unique artistic style, which was characterized by intricate symbols and motifs, often carved into standing stones or rock faces. These symbols, known as Pictish symbols, included animal forms, abstract shapes, and mythical creatures, and their meaning and purpose remain largely unknown to this day, adding to the aura of mystery surrounding the Picts.
